Step 1: Preparing for Your Call
Our team will be conducting a Zoom call to review your application and discuss your goals, brand, and story in-depth. This is your opportunity to showcase your expertise and discuss your vision for your episode.
- Zoom Details: Make sure you have Zoom installed on your device and are familiar with its functions. We will send a Zoom link in your confirmation email.
- Technical Preparation: Ensure you have a stable internet connection, a quiet environment, and a working microphone/camera setup for the call.
Step 2: Call Timing & Reminders
- Prompt Arrival: Please be on time for your scheduled call. We value your time and aim to stay on schedule to respect everyone’s availability.
- Confirmation and Reminders: Our team may reach out via text or phone call to confirm the call time and ensure you’re prepared. You might receive reminders up to an hour before your scheduled call.
- If You’re Running Late: Let our team know immediately by replying to any of our text confirmations or by calling us directly. We’ll do our best to accommodate any changes.
Step 3: What to Expect During the Call
The call will be approximately 30 minutes. Here’s what will happen:
- Application Review: We will discuss your application, background, and the story you want to share. This is your chance to tell us why your journey and expertise make you an ideal fit for the show.
- Show Vision: We will dive deeper into how the show aligns with your brand and how we can position your episode to maximize impact.
- Q&A Session: You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions about the process, next steps, and what to expect once accepted.
Step 4: Next Steps At The End Of The Call
If our team approves your initial application during the call and the call goes well:
- Acceptance Confirmation: You will receive an official acceptance email detailing next steps, including scheduling your filming date.
- Contract Details: A contract outlining your involvement and the terms will be sent to you. This needs to be signed and returned before any further steps proceed.
- Onboarding: You will be sent a second link shortly after to do a short welcome call and expectation call. You will also be sent an official acceptance letter. All logistic next steps will be discussed on this onboarding call.
