Terry Smith Knight is an entrepreneur, nonprofit founder, and community leader from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, dedicated to creating opportunities for children, families, and underserved communities. As the Founder and CEO of Love and Bright Beginnings Childcare, LLC, Terry has spent more than a decade building a high-quality early childhood education organization that has grown from serving 23 children with 7 employees to serving more than 100 children, while creating over 26 jobs and expanding six times.
In addition to running a successful business, Terry has worked as a Corporate Recruiter, Admissions Counselor, and Massage Therapist, strengthening her passion for helping others achieve their goals. A proud mother of three accomplished children, Terry considers her family her greatest inspiration and credits her journey of education, business growth, and community leadership to their support. In 2018, she founded Reaching Families, a nonprofit focused on empowering youth, strengthening families, and connecting individuals with resources that promote long-term success. Through her work, Terry remains committed to helping others overcome barriers and create brighter futures.
