Samantha Cameron’s story is one of resilience, reinvention, and turning adversity into impact. Becoming a single mother at 20, she balanced full-time work, college, and homeownership before later earning her marketing degree. Her path shifted when her youngest son developed a serious medical condition as an infant, leading her to become a stay-at-home mother and find creative ways to support her family. What began as selling items through local mom groups evolved into more than a decade of building a trusted reputation for affordable, quality used items—ultimately leading her to open Style Encore in New Braunfels.
About two years before launching her franchise, Samantha was diagnosed with ADHD, bringing clarity to a lifetime of feeling misunderstood and different. Still unaware she also struggled with rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD), her franchise journey nearly ended before it began when she became the first franchisee in company history offered a refund rather than moving forward. Determined to grow through the experience rather than be defined by it, she persevered and went on to earn the company’s 2025 Fast Start Award for highest first-year sales among new locations that year.
Today, her business supports the local community through affordable fashion, sustainable resale, and immediate cash opportunities. Through self-awareness, resilience, and authenticity, she gets to live and share her dream—proving that when she shops, she actually does make the world better.
