Jenna and Parry Kring are the co-founders of Alpenswing, an indoor golf and axe-throwing venue in Truckee, California, created to bring people together through fun, connection, and unforgettable experiences. Combining Jenna’s background in business and entrepreneurship with Parry’s master’s degree in Recreation Therapy, the couple turned a mobile axe-throwing trailer launched in 2021 into a thriving brick-and-mortar entertainment destination in just three years. Their mission is to prove that small towns deserve innovative experiences and that meaningful businesses can be built by identifying real community needs.

Beyond entrepreneurship, Jenna and Parry are passionate advocates for resilience, family, and challenging traditional expectations. As a married LGBTQ couple, they navigated IVF, welcomed their first child, and opened their dream business during the same chapter of life—showing that women do not have to choose between building a family and building a business. Through their story, they hope to inspire other entrepreneurs, mothers, and small-town dreamers to stop waiting for the “perfect” moment and start building the life they envision.
