Ashley Brooke Ackerman is a devoted mother of two amazing children and a lawyer and advocate dedicated to making a difference. Throughout her career—and much of her life—she has been committed to creating positive change by serving those who need it most, including abused and neglected women and children, individuals experiencing homelessness, and members of her own community.
Ashley was raised by her loving grandparents after her mother passed away unexpectedly when she was seven years old. Although her father was not a significant part of her childhood, they have recently reconnected, a relationship for which she is deeply grateful.
For years, Ashley has given back to her community as a mother, mentor, advocate, and attorney. Later this year, she plans to launch a nonprofit organization in honor of her mother and grandmother's legacy. Through this organization, she hopes to support single mothers experiencing homelessness and those escaping abusive situations by providing them with a safe place to rebuild their lives. Her greatest goal is to help families find not only a place to call home, but also a space where they can heal, grow, and begin again.
